Welcome to Qord ("we," "our," or "us"), available at qord.in. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our property management platform.
This policy applies to property owners and team members (caretakers).
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your name and profile picture from your Google account.
- Property Data: Details about your properties including names, addresses, descriptions, check-in instructions, photos, and access information you choose to enter.
- Booking Data: Guest names, phone numbers, check-in and check-out dates, and booking notes. This data is entered by you and used solely to power your property management.
- Team Member Data: Names and contact information of team members you invite to your organisation.
- Task Data: Tasks created, assigned, and completed within the platform.
- Location Data: If you use the property location feature, we access your device's GPS coordinates only to help you pin a property address accurately. We do not track your location continuously or in the background.
- Uploaded Files: Photos and documents you upload are stored securely using encrypted cloud storage.
- Usage Data: Basic, anonymised analytics on how features are used to help us improve the Service. This does not include your personal content.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data solely to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Qord platform
- Enable you to manage your properties, bookings, tasks, and calendar sync
- Send you important service-related communications (e.g., magic login links, account alerts)
- Improve and develop the platform based on usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or property data with third parties for any advertising or marketing purpose.
4. Device Permissions
- Location: Used only when you actively use the property location feature to set an address. Not used in the background.
- Camera / Storage: Used only when you choose to upload photos for your property or profile.
- Contacts: May be optionally accessed to help you quickly add team members or guests by name. Contact data is not stored unless you explicitly save it.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit) and is hosted on secure, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure. We apply role-based access controls so team members can only access the data relevant to their role.
While we take every reasonable measure to protect your data, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and to notify us immediately at support@qord.in if you suspect any breach.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google: Used for Google Sign-In. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase: Our backend database and file storage provider. Data is stored within their secure infrastructure.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@qord.in.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
